Benémola Fountain
Located next to the Benémola weir, it was the subject of a concession contract in 1932 to the Fonte Santa e Benémola Society, which had the right to exploit the spring, but this was never granted. Occupying an area of 406 ha, it is crossed by the Menalva stream, which is supplied by a number of springs, including “O Olho” and Fonte Benémola, allowing the stream to maintain its flow even during the summer season, contributing to the biodiversity of the site.
