(Municipal Museum of Loulé)
Traditional kitchen Museological Pole
This place offers a journey into the kitchens of the houses in the Algarve's mountains and hillsides of the mid-20th century, showing a part of rural life in the county that is gradually being replaced by technological, economic and social progress.
Here we can see, among other things, the tray and board to bake bread, cutlery and kitchen utensils in aluminium, the millstone to grind the maize from which flour the "xarém" is made, plates, platters and copper pots, gourds and cork "cocharros".
Tuesday to Saturday: 10am - 4:30pm
Closed on Sundays, Mondays and the following holidays: December 25th, January 1st and May 1st.
