By Land:

• To the north, there are three main entry points into the territory: through the village of Ameixal, via the mythical National Road No. 2; through IP1/A2, by São Bartolomeu de Messines, and through São Marcos da Serra, via the IC1.
• To the east of the territory, the entrance is along the National Road nº124, towards Salir/Querença, and the National Road nº270, towards Loulé.
• To the west, one enters the area at São Marcos da Serra, along the National Road 267 from Monchique and by the National Road nº124, via Silves.
• To the south, the National Road 124-1, which takes us to Silves, and the National Road nº 125, to Algoz, Ferreiras and Boliqueime. The National Road nº 396, gives us access to Loulé.
• On foot, the two main entry routes into the territory are to the north, the South Central Portuguese Way (Ways of St. James), and to the east and west, the Via Algarviana.

By Rail:

• To reach the Geopark territory by train, five train stations are available: Tunes, Silves, Ferreiras, Boliqueime and Loulé.

By Air:

• Access is via Faro International Airport or Portimão Municipal Aerodrome.
