(MUNICIPAL MUSEUM OF LOULÉ)
Cândido Guerreiro and Counts of Alte museological pole
Located in a picturesque inland village, nestled among the houses that go up the hillside overlooking the Ribeira de Alte, in this place we can pause to get to know the people of Alte from yesterday and today.
Here we can also learn a little about the life and work of the poet Francisco Xavier Cândido Guerreiro, a native of this village that he loved so much and to which he dedicated some of his verses, as well as some testimonies of the Counts of Alte, whose family history is connected with the development of the village of Alte.
Monday to Friday: 9am – 1pm and 2pm - 5pm
