This path starts in the village of Ameixial by a leisure park next to “Casa de Pasto Ameixialense”. It heads north-west, climbing the street in the direction of the water supplier tank. Go down the EN503, cross it and take a trill to the northwest, in the direction of Vale Redondo and the road that connects Ameixial to Vermelhos. This path descends smoothly through a small hill until the road that goes to Azinhal dos Mouros.
At this point, the route inverts its way, passes by the Caravan Park (old cork factory), and follows north-west. Crosses Redondo Valley passes by a cattle farm, the Monte da Seiceira, and arrives at the EN2, cross it and go down to the Seiceira Fountain. From here the route takes the way up to the top of the hill, turning right towards the centre of Ameixial. Cross the village, pass by the recently recovered wood oven in the “Rua da Laje”, go through the “Azinhaga do Ribeiro”, that goes from the centre of the village to the football field. However, before you get there, you have the opportunity to go back to the starting point of the route or walk 1,5 km more and finish the walk.
To go back to the starting point, turn right at the crossroad and follow the direction to the link from Via Algarviana to Ameixial, and you reach the beginning of the trail at 420 metres.
At the crossroad that meets Link 6 from Via Algarviana with the road that accesses the football field, turn left towards east. Link 6 from Via Algarviana goes straight ahead and our route goes right in the direction of the valley and the Vascãozinho stream. This path crosses a eucalyptus forest, goes down the stream – a short but steep cliff – cross it and goes up to a larger path that connects with municipal road 504 in the direction of Corte de Ouro. At the crossroad turn right to the starting point.
