Ethnographic Heritage
On top of the hill with the same name, stands the Leitão Windmill. A structure of stone, sand and lime, once characteristic of local construction, it is one of the oldest windmills in the parish of Paderne. From there you can see the typical landscape of the Algarve Barrocal, the sea to the south and the Algarve hills to the north.
It has been rebuilt and is ready for use. You can see how the traditional milling process was done.
