Praia da Falésia
Falésia Beach gets its name due to the line of reddish and whitish colored cliffs that follow the sand. These cliffs are made up of sandstones formed in a fluvial-marine environment of the Lower Pliocene (5.3 – 3.6 Ma), which follow the Upper Miocene (11.6 – 5.3 Ma) calcoarenites of Olhos de Água.
